We have been a long-time patient of Dr. Gordon and the Oakland Animal Hospital. Even though we have moved to central New Jersey, we have continued to use him as our primary veterinarian.
Our 13 year old, female, Border Collie – Kayle – developed a fatty tumor on her chest. While Dr. Gordon did not feel it required immediate medical attention, he did monitor it carefully.
Earlier this year we noticed it was beginning to impact her movement so we jointly decided to have it removed. Dr. Gordon and his staff removed it and the operation was a complete success.
Kayle has completely recovered, and we can’t thank Dr. Gordon and his staff for their care and expertise that has allowed Kayle to have a better quality of life. Hopefully, this will allow us to have a few more good years with her.
We have used Oakland animal hospital for over 15 years. Dr. Gordon is incredible and our dogs have received the best care.

Dr. Gordon runs a great place here. Your dog or cat will be in great hands in their care. Everyone from the vets to the techs—and especially the front desk—is cheerful and most helpful. Bonus points for having a lab in-house, unlike many other nearby animal hospitals. Pleasant, open, and airy waiting room and on-time appointments.
So caring of my animal. Did everything they could to help during the pandemic. My little one is comfy at home and getting great care because of Dr. Gordon. Can’t ask for anything more!!!
I find the staff to be very compassionate and professional at all times, beginning with the friendly and accommodating receptionists right through to the competent techs and excellent doctors. I have had multiple pets as patients at OAH and will continue to use their services for my pets in the future. The team at OAH provides excellent care!
